Spreading OpenNotes

NYHealth encourages New York health care providers to implement OpenNotes, a national effort to give patients access to the visit notes written by their doctors, nurses, or other clinicians. By 2023, the Foundation had supported the use of OpenNotes in 30 hospitals, health centers, physician practices, and other health care settings across the State.
