Visiting Fellows Offer Valuable Expertise

Dr. Dave Chokshi, former Commissioner of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, joins the Foundation as a visiting fellow, providing crucial guidance in the creation of the Foundation’s Primary Care program. NYHealth’s inaugural visiting fellow, in 2010, was Deborah Bachrach, former New York State Medicaid Director, who played a key role in shaping the Foundation-supported Affordable Care Act implementation roadmap.
